June 2014

01/06/14

We're moving! We have outgrown our current office space and are moving to anew officeon Pynes Hill Business Park a couple of miles away. We'd like to say thanks to our current landlords, Ashfords, for making us so welcome for the last 18 months. We'll send around details of the new address and the office opening party in due course.

We're also pleased to announce that we've recently taken on two further graduate civil engineers. Richard Luceyre-joins us after completing his MEng at Cardiff Uni. Richard worked for us last summer holiday and impressed us so much that he's back working with Chris and the flood risk and drainage guys. And Alex Hanksjoins Rodin's infrastructure design team having recently completed his BEng at Plymouth Uni. Both Richard and Alex will join us on 1 July in our shiny new office.

It seems to have been a very busy month (again) and we're pleased to have been appointed on a number of new residential development schemes. We keep a running total of the number of houses we are either supporting through the planning process or undertaking the detailed design of. During June, this total passed 20,000 houses, which is the equivalent of a substantial new town. Not bad for only just over 18 months of trading.

In between all of the above we did find time to take a few clients along to see Somerset be totally outplayed by Kent in a T20 match.
