Project Update - Plymouth, Morlaix House

AWP are very pleased to have supported Eagle One (Lone Eagle Properties) with their plans to update Morlaix House at Derriford in Plymouth and provide a new building on the site.

The scheme made use of the updated use classes and kept the likely future use open to either residential or employment uses. The transport reports provided therefore had to consider all the optional potential uses of the site. AWP also prepared a flood and drainage note to support the application which re-used predominantly paved areas for the new building but included additional surface water storage measures to take account of future climate change. 

The site also addresses transport sustainability by providing new EV charging points and cycle parking.
