Simon Baker

Principal Engineer

I have been at AWP for over 9 years, having joined the company as one of the first graduate engineers back in November 2013.

I have been fortunate to work in each of the teams at AWP being exposed to drainage, transport and detailed infrastructure works which has given me an excellent start to my professional career. I have been working in the Infrastructure design team for the past 6 years where I have been involved in a series of development schemes involving a wide range of highways and drainage design infrastructure works which have now been implemented on site.

I have always been a keen sportsman regularly playing and watching rugby, football, cricket and hockey. I have enjoyed playing in goal for my local and university hockey teams having captained my university team for a year. I am currently playing for my local Hockey 1st Team.
