2023 New Year’s Honours

To start off the new year, we are delighted to announce five promotions within AWP.

Fleur Elliott-Davies has been promoted to Engineer. This reflects Fleur’s hard work over the past year largely on the Nansledan Project, her enthusiasm to delve into challenging technical problems, and helping to maintain momentum by delivering quality services on a wide-ranging and complex project. Lots of great skills to take forward into Graham’s Team this year.

Matt Spurling has been promoted to Principal Technician. Matt has assisted Graham embracing more of a lead designer role within the team, taking on greater responsibility for the day to day running of schemes, attending client meetings and collaborating with co-professionals.

Daisy Atkin has been promoted to Senior Transport Planner. This comes at the end of a great year for Daisy, having stepped up in the technical side of projects, developing her project managerial skills and building up a series of excellent client relationships.

Simon Baker has been promoted to Principal Engineer. This is reflective of Simon’s longstanding efforts, success with the Crewkerne project and lots of positive client feedback. Simon imparts his technical knowledge to others within the team and has stepped up to take on a more client managerial role. 

Annabel Harris has been promoted to Principal Engineer.   Annabel has taken on extra managerial tasks within Dan’s Team including finance, building client relationships, running the day to day resourcing of the team and the training of others just starting out in their careers.

These are all very well deserved promotions, for some of our longest serving colleagues that have each been growing their careers successfully with AWP over the years. We’re thrilled to be able to recognise their achievements in this way, and wish them all a successful 2023. Many congratulations to everyone!
