One of our aims when we set up AWP in 2012 was to be an excellent employer, and we think we do a pretty good job in most respects. However, to independently review our performance, we have recently engaged with the Investors in People (IiP) team and following their review of our business over the last few months, we are pleased to report that we have been formally Accredited until 2019.
Their detailed assessment reported that we comfortably exceeded the industry average in all nine categories that make up the IiP framework. We were particularly pleased with the feedback from the assessors which included phrases such as "very committed workforce", "strong team work", "training and development is good", "openness of the culture" and our "robust set of core values".
We look forward to working with our IiP accreditors over the next three years to improve in as many metrics as practicable as we grow and mature as a business.
