Planning application submitted for luxury hotel and spa

We were pleased to see the planning application was recently submitted to convert Blackborough House to a new 64 bedroom hotel.

We were appointed to undertake civil engineering input to support its renovation and conversion into a hotel with associated restaurant, spa and function rooms. In addition, the proposal includes the construction of four residential pavilions and seven villas in the grounds of the listed house.

Working closely with Nigel Bird Architects, we prepared a Transport Statement and Flood Risk Assessment to support a detailed planning application. Ian and Sam also attended a Public Consultation Event where the proposals were explained to the residents of the village of Blackborough.
