Planning permission for new Mallison Bridge

We were pleased to see Exeter City Council grant planning permission for the proposed new footbridge and boardwalk at Exeter Quay.

We worked closely with the ECC team and also the Environment Agency to help develop a design which would both enable much improved access to the waterfont in flood events, but also reduce flood risk to surrounding properties. We prepared a Flood Risk Assessment to support the outline planning application for the new steel beam footbridge and elevated boardwalk which will tie into existing higher ground around the north abutment of the Cricklepit Bridge.

We look forward to seeing the new bridge and boardwalk being built.
