We have provided engineering support to the planning and implementation phases of the Wainhomes development at Batheway Fields, North Tawton, since 2013 and it was one of our very first projects on the AWP books. The site is located immediately to the south of the town, accessed from a new priority junction along the main road from De Bathe Cross, and to the east of the river Taw which passes through the local area.
Having completed the Transport Assessment, Flood Risk Assessment, drainage strategy and preliminary engineering details to support the successful planning application for 61 dwellings at Phase 1, we were subsequently appointed to undertake the detailed infrastructure design to secure Technical Approvals for S38, S278 and S104 Agreements. The implementation of the initial phase on site is nearly complete and fully occupied.
More recently in 2018 Alex and Chris’ teams provided the same technical services to support a detailed planning application for a second phase of 65 dwellings, and with a resolution to grant planning permission recently secured preparations are now under way for the Phase 2 detailed infrastructure design meaning our involvement in the scheme is set to continue into its sixth year.
