International Women in Engineering Day

It's International Women in Engineering Day!

As part of this year’s International Women in Engineering Day activities, Principal Engineer, Annabel Harris is attending the “Engineering Her Future” STEM event representing both AWP and the Institution of Civil Engineers today in Plymouth along with Fionah Mazvita Mukondwa from EDF Energy.

Attending these types of events is important to AWP, as it provides the opportunity to encourage more young women to consider future careers in STEM sectors and helping to address the gender balance in what has historically been a male dominated construction industry. 

We appreciate all women in engineering today and every day!
