"We like working with the AWP team as they are experienced, flexible, commercially astute, technically savvy, but above all they get the job done."

AWP have helped Bloor Homes Exeter Region tosecurea delegated approval from Cornwall Council for the Reserved Matters Application (RMA) for Phase 2A of the Treledan development at Saltash, Cornwall. The scheme includes326 new homes (including affordable housing).

This represents the 2nd major phase of a 1,000 home mixed-use development which had already been granted Outline Planning Permission. As well as housing, the latest approval gives detailed consent for the ‘neighbourhood centre’, which provides commercial space for a convenience store and other local retail units. In addition, there will be acres of green space, play areas, a green amphitheatre, cycle networks and a footbridge across the A38trunk road.

AWP provided masterplanning, highways and levels, drainage strategy and cut/fill input associated with the RMA. We also supported theextensive stakeholder and community engagementprocessalongside the Client and wider design team, including a public consultation and meetingswith local interest groups – all critical to ensuring community involvement, communicating Bloors vision, and pathing the way for a positive planning process.

Thanks to Bloor Homes Exeter and the whole project team. We look forward to seeing the site come forward to construction stage following our continued involvement to provide the subsequent Detailed Designdrawings to secureS38 and S104 technical approvals.
